Invicta School
To the nursery class at Invicta School in London – thank you so much for your letter! I’m so glad you enjoyed William and the Night Train. In answer to your question, the roof of the train isn’t part of William’s dream, so that’s why it’s not there… I think… Maybe Alison Jay can give you a better answer!
2007-11-19 14:06:29Hello fellow writers
Hello to all the Harry Potters, Captain Underpants, Pippi Longstockings, Alex Riders and Red Riding Hoods in Year 4 at Lyndhurst School. I loved your costumes! Have a good time making your picture books for the Year 3s – remember, if you enjoy writing it, it’ll be fun to read.
2007-11-16 14:45:53Thank you
A big thank you to the Year 3s at Lyndhurst School for your lovely letters – particularly to Alexander, who wrote, “Talking about imagination made my imagination bigger.” That’s the sort of thing I love to hear! In answer to your questions: my dog is called Otis, new books that I’ve got coming out are The Happiest Man in the World, Baby Blue Egg, Where Giants Hide, Atchoo! and The Bump. And my favourite is (as always) the last one I wrote, which right now is The Bump.
2007-11-14 12:00:00Hi to Hartford
Hi to the children at Hartford Infant School in Huntingdon. It was lovely to meet you all on Tuesday – and good luck to the Year 2s in the writing competition!
2007-11-07 12:00:00Suzy two
Fans of Suzy Sue and her friends in Have You Seen my Potty? will be pleased to hear that I’ve just written a follow-up story. It’s called Atchoo and the wonderful Mary McQuillan is going to illustrate it.
