Fast, frenzied, and very, very funny, this is the next instalment in the Franklin Files, and the sequel to the award-winning 48 Hours with Franklin.
Franklin Stein is a walking, talking shop dummy who keeps losing his head – not to mention his hands and his legs. When Franklin’s legs zoom past on a motorbike, when a seagull flies off with his hand, and his head won’t stop complaining, Joe and Gertie know they’re in trouble.
Will they be able to outwit the police, a couple of crooked pig farmers, and their parents, to put Franklin back together again?
Read on and enter the hilarious world of Franklin.
Franklin Falls Apart will be available as an e-book for Kindle and the iPad in October.
"I must have been eight or nine the first time I laughed out loud when I was reading a book. The book was about a boy called Jennings and his friend Derbyshire. It was part of a series, and I had to devour them all, they were such fun to read. So when I started writing, the first thing I did was write my two Franklin books to try to recapture the laugh-out-loud-while-reading-a-book thing that I'd enjoyed so much as a child."
